What is an AI Blockchain?

Esperchain is an AI blockchain. AI blockchain is a blockchain capable of training and running machine learning models on-chain. Alternatively, AI blockchain has in-built machine learning models (e.g. for analytics or security). Esperchain is an AI blockchain in both senses.

Esperchain is a modular blockchain with two execution layers: a standard one and a GPU-boosted one. A standard one is a proof-of-stake for low computational load (transactions), and a GPU-boosted is a proof-of-work for high computational load (machine learning).

Our Vision

The vision behind Esperchain is to:

• decentralize machine learning computations

• make proof-of-work mechanism solve useful problems (e.g. AI training)

• democratize access to AI solutions

Technology

Esperchain is de facto a two-chain with standard blockchain and GPU-boosted blockchain connected.

This duality allows for efficiency as well as scalability.

Potentially it could be also achieved with a single proof-of-stake blockchain, and GPU-layer being either an L2 or a protocol. Another scenario would be having the GPU-layer as an L1 and using an existing L1/L2 blockchain as smart contract layer - possibly multiple L1s, so that the access to decentralized computing could be achieved from multiple chains.

Esperchain is also a modular blockchain to solve blockchain trilemma: security, scalability and decentralization.
